  • At Meg Deshpande Design Studio we want to work on collaborative projects. We want to elevate spaces for homeowners, architects, builders, developers, and real estate professionals. Those spaces may be part of a new construction home or part of a renovation within an existing home. We have experience with both new construction and renovations including bathrooms, kitchens, interior living spaces, and outdoor spaces. We use hourly pricing for some services, fixed fee pricing for others, and even a combination of both on some projects. We will outline exactly what is included in our fee when we send you a proposal.

  • Yes! We have worked with many teams of contractors, engineers, and architects. We enjoy the fresh ideas that new teams bring as well as the familiarity of partners that we have worked with. If you need suggestions for partners, we can also supply some names of experienced professionals.

  • Organizing a full team at the beginning of the project will allow everyone to be on the same page earlier in the process, minimizing misunderstandings and allowing you that much more time to assess decisions. We will bring insight that other team members will not have and likewise others will do the same. The challenges that occur when designers are brought on later in the process can often include costly changes due to uncoordinated planning of the schedule, space plans, and budget.

We can then let you know how that fits with our services and, most likely, we will want to see the job site. Once we have a good idea of how we will be able to help you, we will write a proposal, you sign the proposal, and we get started!
